Did anyone else go to last night?

The Kaiser Chiefs were quality live and obviously The Killers weren't too bad either.

Bloc Party were ok but i was expecting them to be truly amazing.

The Futureheads were great but as I only just got their album and haven't really listened yet, so I've only heard hounds of love.

Great night, worth the £25 I paid on eBay!

Please dont rub it in.

I missed out and could not even buy one of a tout because they did not have any.

HAD I gone home instead of hanging about for the bloc party signing session and talking to some touts then I would have found a message from Peter saying I could have a FREE ticket as long as I got back to him before 6.

I want to cry lots and lots.

Still, Bloc Party in Pompey and Kaiser Chiefs in Brighton to look forward to.

Top night. Thought all bands were excellent but if I had to put them in order of preference then

1. The Killers
2. Bloc Party
3. Kaiser Chiefs
4. The Futureheads.

(Futureheads knocked down a spot for having a hissy fit about a plastic bottle thrown on stage)

Great start to a brilliant few weeks of gigs. The Bravery, Dears/Ambulance Ltd, Hal/Magic Numbers, The Wedding Present, The Ordinary Boys, Sondre Lerche and Doves/Magic Numbers.

Been to the last two NME gigs at the Pyramids in Portsmouth, but not this year as for me the local one is Saturday and it's in an awful venue (Southampton Guildhall, known also as the Bucket).

Seen the Killers and Futureheads (twice) before, but would like to have seen the other two.

Saw the Dears and Ambulance Ltd the other night, not having heard either of them before. Didn't really do it for me I'm afraid.

Wedding Present in three weeks - top gigging!

Thought that the Killers were excellent last night as were Bloc Party (we even met drummer and guitarist in the bar after they had finished, which was nice!) . The Kaiser Cheifs were good but was disappointed with the Futureheads and the tantrum wasnt very rock n roll! :D :drink: :drink: :drink:
