I have 9 of em....to drunk n lazy to say which ones atm though.
My collection is vinyl and CD, anything else is virtual data.
If you have only heard of 7 of those songs it means you clearly know naff all about music so it's not surprising that you don't read the NME.
Stick to your usual monthly mag, Razzle.
It's this magazine that knows nothing about music. The only way you can determine the best songs is by sales figures, as clearly public opinion has to be the greatest single factor in any such debate. For your information, this is FACTUALLY the top songs of all time in the UK:
1) Candle in the Wind - Elton John
2) Do they know it's Christmas? - Band Aid
3) Bohemian Rhapsody - Queen
4) Mull of Kintyre - Wings
5) Rivers of Babylon - Boney M
6) Relax - Frankie goes to Hollywood
7) She Loves You - The Beatles
8) You're the one that I Want - Grease
9) Unchained Melody - Robson and Jerome
10) Mary's Boy Child - Boney M
I'm not saying it's what I like, but it's better than somebody's opinion.
Two Boney M songs in there! This has to be a wind up.
I am absolutely delighted to say that I own precisely 0 of those.
It's not pretentious enough yet to consider Winehouse as some musical demi-god. Give it 3 or 4 years and I'm sure she'll feature on one of NME's crap "all time great" lists, as their readership will be made up of the 16 year olds who remember here when they were 10 or 11.Atilla never played Madonna. I miss his music. I'm surprised Amy Whitehouse isn't in that list
Come on man. How can you be delighted NOT to own RELAX, DON'T DO IT WHEN YOU WANT TO GO TO IT, RELAX DON"T DO IT WHEN YOU WANT TO COME?
It is a wonderful track.
Sure, records and CDs are nice things to own but, the music = 'virtual data'?
I love how the internet opens up so much music to everyone. It's fantastic.
