For what.
Cheers for Ian Wright too maybe if you signed him you wouldn't have spent 10 years swilling around in pig shit getting wet at a football ground I even notched at.
You'll get a few more (plastics) through the gate at next match, now you've finally managed to win a game. You must be pleased. For what.

Fans were quietish until they equalised but travelled in good numbers as always.
that is the case at most games I suspect - I've certainly noticed before that there is a direct correlation between the number of tickets announced as pre-sold and the total number announced on the day whereas a significant number of our travelling fans pay on the gate. Of course that applies with most clubs and it's only the ones with really big and organised away support who pre-sell a lot of tickets.
Still waiting for your reply on that charity bet... bottlejob.
As for less than 10000, there was just over 14000 in actual attendance yesterday. Source: Senior Steward.

Ian Wright was turned down for one simple reason.
At the time we had better,if we had signed him he would have spent years as a bit player coming off the bench to change the attack a bit,bit like G.M. would be doing if he had stayed here.
Glad you enjoyed our reject from years ago, enjoy our latest cast off.
What a load of old tosh ! is that the same ian wright who came straight in our team in his first season and became a legend , or the same FFS murray who alot of you want back to form the dream team front two with golden boots CMS ?
Yes,found his level at your club.A division below us whilst we had current Irish(north and South) Welsh and Scottish internationals to choose from.
Wright developed into a better player art Arsenal but his style of play would not have fitted into our team.
As for Murray,he will score a few for you(10-14 a season) but we have better.
So your saying because arsenal didnt develop him to your standard he wasnt good enough ? Wrighty was a rough diamond who from his first appearance from the subs bench you could tell he was special . Obviously your staff didnt see this potential , i dont know why because it was so obvious .no you are right.I didn't but I am not decrying Wright or Murray.Wright didn't make the grade at Brighton because Arsenal hadn't developed him.
We had better,we have got better than Murray now.
Players get passed over all the time because the host club at that moment had better.
That is how we got Zamora from Bristol and how we got Gary Stevens from Ipswich,a player released by Bobby Robson who subsequently picked him for England when he was England Manager.
