Would it really? I mean UKIP voters tend to lean towards anti-eu, so criticising him is just playing to his base, which was big enough to get him elected. Might even win some people over who are impressed by his stand against europe.

I agree with a stand against Europe!

I simply would not vote for someone who does it in this way - I am totally unimpressed by Farage.

Mr Farage added: "I can speak on behalf of the majority of British people......"

Deluded or what? :bla:

Really?

By my check on the results at least 55% of the vote cast in 2009 was for anti EU parties.

Not all UKIP obviously but the majority of British people did not vote for parties fully supported the European project.

It is for this reason that Labour chose not to deliver on a manifesto promise an hold a referendum on the EU Constitution, (not that Labour promises are worth anything but still).

So, who's deluded?

Out of interest, are those unhappy with Van Rompooy pro- or anti-Europe? His appointment is really a boon for the anti's, as it means he is little more than a puppet for the member states. The reason that someone like Blair wasn't appointed is that then the role would have more power and more decision making would be eroded from the member states...
i am pro-democracy, much like the numerous other LEFT and RIGHT parties around europe who are against the EU.
