"We were told that when we had a president, we'd see a giant global political figure, a man who would be the political leader for 500 million people, the man that would represent all of us all of us on the world stage, the man whose job was so important that of course you're paid more than President [Barack] Obama."

He continued: "Well, I'm afraid what we got was you ... I don't want to be rude but, really, you have the charisma of a damp rag and the appearance of a low-grade bank clerk and the question I want to ask is: 'Who are you? I'd never heard of you. Nobody in Europe had ever heard of you.'"

I think you could call that a BARRAGE from FARAGE

:lolol:

Nigel does have a point, to be fair.

Oh, and Farage is on Question Time tonight, pop-pickers.

Mr Farage added: "I can speak on behalf of the majority of British people......"

Deluded or what? :bla:

Before yesterday if you'd asked me who the two of them were, I'd've only got one right. And it would not have been Farage.

Farrage is an embarrassment. He's your typical, public-school debating society type who never grew up and thinks by shouting loudest, being rudest, and ignoring everyone else that makes him right. Scarily, there might actually have been people in the room who thought he represented Britain.

I don't think I've heard of this farage bloke until this thread. Still, nice of him to speak for me.

I didn't think it was possible to dislike a politician more than I dislike Baker, but congratulations Nigel, you've changed my mind :clap2::clap2:

Much like the European Parliment !!!!

At least Farage was elected by the people while the President was put in place by wheeling and dealing by the EU leaders.

Indeed...there is an old saying that goes something like "he who talks loudest usually has the least to say"...Farage seems adequate proof of that!

I will however enjoy seeing him on question time...when he gets to full rant I half expect his eyes to pop out!

maybe a point, but why put it in such a childish way? and who's heard of Farrage in Europe? or the UK?

typical EU though, they didnt want Blair or a similar high profile president as, er, they might be too high profile and would certainly have their own mind. getting stuff done just isnt on, without years of hand wringing or orders from Paris/Berlin. probably for the best though, the Eu president might have actually become influential.

Well I think it makes for a refreshing change. Outright insults should be traded more openly both in European and in our own Parliaments. One day, someone is going to stand up and just say "BOLLOCKS", to the Rt Hnrble member. And for me, that day cannot come soon enough.

I think he has a point in this first bit.

he is an utter prick and a deluded wanker.

He came to BHASVIC last year and got slaughtered by a kid I know. Left the room embrassed :lolol:
