An interesting side story is the rivalry between Farage and Piers Morgan to get the first Trump interview.

It's quite clear they loathe each and Morgan has claimed in the past that Farage tries to derail his last interview.

Farage made the mistake of going round breakfast tv this morning explaining how he will tell Trump at the inauguration why Musk has got this wrong, but they can disagree on things like adults do.

Musk then makes him look a fool by tweeting that a few hours later
It's like watching speed dating (or in Musk's case, dating on speed). Oh well, plenty more fash in the sea

Musk was just about tolerable, and quite an interesting fellow when he was mostly just inventing useful stuff.

But as owner of Twitter/his meddling in (other countries) politics and general shit stirring, he's become imo a pretty dangerous prospect. Do wonder what his (next) agenda is.
I can see him and Trump having a big fall out over something in the next 12 months

Musk hasn’t invented anything. He bought firms where useful stuff was being invented.

To be fair, he has invented the Cult of Musk, which while ghastly and pathetic, has been immensely successful
That depends on how you measure success. His children have disowned him, and most people think, he’s a nutter.

Oh, absolutely. He's an absolute scumbag. But there are enough tech-bros, 'free speech absolutists' and other assorted lunatics who hang on his every word. "An idiot's idea of what a genius looks like". What he is, is a master self-publicist.

The only child with whom Musk’s relationship is strained is his transgender daughter Jenna, who has disavowed her connection with Musk due to her perception of his anti-transgender views and because of her anti-capitalist political beliefs.

Not sure his kids will thank him when they are older for his behaviour in the custody lawsuits with Grimes

Yeah, I think Trump this time around will be a bit more rational and he may well get the arse with Musk, I hope so, anyway.
