[News] Nigel Farage and Reform

I like most Brighton fans. But, like all clubs, you have a few rotten apples. So do Burnley, of course, but I object to people saying that all Burnley fans are rotten just as you would object to anyone saying all Brighton fans are rotten.
Personally I have never seen nwgull display any prejudice, but I have experienced racism, sexism and homophobia from Burnley fans.

If there is evidence that justifies closing all a person's bank accounts, then prosecute him or her. Banks should not (IMO) have this power. If banks can close accounts for no given reason, then there must be a government sponsored bank account offering as a minimum banking facilities for normal life to go on.

How popular in Burnley is he still? Are there murals of him underneath bridges and stuff?

Way back in the 2001 general election, Farage stood in Bexhill and Battle. To cut a long story short, he loathed the new Tory candidate Greg Barker, along with the incumbant Tory MP who was standing down
to work for Mohamed Al-Fayed and was talking a very good game despite not actually standing a cat in hells chance of winning. I wasn't taking any chances though - because of him I held my nose and voted Tory just to try and make sure. That's how much I despise him.

Well said, all clubs have a bigoted twat element, unfortunately, our lot seem addicted to posting on NSC political threads ... fortunately they are in no way representative of the wider fan base just like the minority of bad apples supporting Burnley or any other club.

No, I explained at length exactly what Johnson and Farage were all over NSC from the moment they first appeared on the political scene. I warned people against supporting them, and gave what has proven to be an incredibly accurate account of what would happen if Brexit was voted for at the referendum. I highlighted the NIP issues, the issues with implementing border controls (which we still haven't done) the impact on British exporters, the effect on the fishing, logistics, care, hospitality, NHS and other industries too many to mention, the Inflation it would cause and all the various other associated problems etc etc etc

I then continued to explain the best possible way out of the situation that we found ourselves in, post the 2016 referendum when May was PM. I warned against Johnson becoming leader of the conservative party and also warned in no uncertain terms about what would happen if he actually won a majority.

When he did win, I told everybody to batten down the hatches and try and protect themselves from the inevitable and entirely predictable incoming shitstorm. I even gave quite detailed financial advice on what to do to try and minimise the effect of Farage/Brexit/Johnson and protect yourself and your family.

It's all here on NSC, a good few thousand posts to this effect on here The Brexit Thread and on here The 2019 Election thread so fill your boots.

I'm really not sure what more I could have done to try and stop people from being fooled

Absolutely no after timing whatsoever, it's almost spooky

For some reason the wise words of a much-respected ex-mod spring to mind ..... '**** me, you're a smug, self-satisfied prick'

Amusingly if any one account on NSC exemplifies the supposed Boris/Farage main characteristics of narcissism and dishonesty its this one :lolol:

I rarely wish death upon anyone, but the U.K. would be a better place if that plane crash had taken him out
With no evidence and an active imagination I always see that crash as a warning from the FSB (KGB).

This.

There are very few people I hate more than Nigel Farage. I'd raise a glass if I found out he'd been run over by a traction engine tomorrow. The traitorous twunt.
Lord Haw Haw springs to mind, and he was hung for treason.

anks have decided Farage is a dodgy fly by night grifter who has broken their terms and conditions. Yet some ignore the banks' long tradition of giving bank accounts to any chance or criminal with a bit of cash (let's face it probably turning a blind eye to a bit of laundering here and there) and believe that all of a sudden they are some kind of paragon of virtue who through nothing but woke vindictiveness has cancelled man of the people Nige.

I suppose time will tell the reasons behind this but good on you for giving good old Nige (he pretends to drink pints you know) the benefit of the doubt (there isn't much in the banking world) . . . Again.

You really can't buy this kind of blind loyalty. The stats of post Brexit politics.

Mugs.

You love NSC you twit.

Where else could you troll so unsuccessfully and still be tolerated?

You are quite right though, you are the voice of the true Brighton fans.

In the same way that, fortunately, you aren’t representative of the Albion fan base.

So that’s every single MP then.
Yep. And more than that because, of course, Nigel was never an MP despite all the air time he got. So party leaders, MEPs when we had them.

Starmer, Abbott and Corbyn will all be subject to PEP level checks. It seems their money is just cleaner.

Let’s hope Boris hasn’t laundered any Russian money

Firstly, you’re not debating the issue (again). Any thoughts on Nige?

Secondly though, since you went there first, why aren’t you using your JCFG account? It’s not banned. Is it because that account was outed as a bigoted twat?
