"Have I Got News For You" is a satirical TV programme, not a news programme. It isn't true.
Given the way the previous government and many Reform politicians have conducted themselves, satire is no longer possible or believable.

Therefore, possibly.

He obviously had to secure a monthly salary paid by us as an MP before he could go to the States to earn some more money. Maybe the idiots in Clacton who voted for him deserves him as their MP, but we don't deserve to have to pay his way.

To be fair to the man of Clacton, I'm sure if any of our friends were shot at by an assassin I'm sure we'd make an effort to go visit them, by his own admission he's only there for a couple days

He made a public statement in May, stating he was going to America to help Trump's campaign and that he definitely wasn't going to stand for MP in a general election.

You would think the husband of a nurse might be as empathetic as Nigel especially as he to be his new American hero, but instead he is sucking up to Eu mates eating croissants and drinking espresso.

Which is fair enough

At worst he out right lied

At best he had a change of plans

Hardly ground breaking for an MP!

Have I Got News for You is very funny. It's usually on tv at 9pm on a Friday night.
I find it dull personally. I do wonder why so many people follow so many others, theakston was banging on Heart radio about how people like to smell like their heroes by getting there aftershaves or perfume. I can tell you now if Peter ward brings out an aftershave, I won't be buying it.

He changed his mind as he knew the country is going to need saving and judging by his decision he made the right choice with a massive following voting for his party, Stuff only dreamed of by the lib dems and greens.
