We`re going to try and get him a good tv (no not a transvestite) for his room and if he improves a little maybe a season ticket.

Aren't the club holding back approx 1000 tickets per game for special invitees? If so I can think of no more worthy recipient than Little Nige. Make it happen!

Went to visit the legend that is my old mate Nigel ' Bushfire ' Erskine on Saturday afternoon in his Nursing Home in Worthing and was pleased to find him in good spirits and able to speak a bit more although it's tiring for him trying to take in what your saying etc Movement wise he was a li'l better than I expected although sat in a wheelchair he has been using a frame to slowly get about.
Stroke or not the mischevious glint in his eyes was there each time I mentioned anything to do with our childhood and teen behaviour and of course any old BHA recollections. He obviously is desperate to get to the Amex and there are very few more deserving than Nigel. Hoping and praying his progress continues slowly and surely and his dream comes true. This little guy has ooooooozed blue and white through every sinue of his body for nigh on 50 years.

Thanks for the update, a true Albion Legend - hope he makes it to the first game at AMEX.

Please pass on very best wishes from lots of Albion fans down the years who Nige has helped entertain on away trips. There are hundreds of us hoping you'll get to Falmer sooner rather than later.

Took him down The Beckett and the George and Dragon saturday for a couple and I know Harty did during the week so he is getting out a bit.
Still blagging drinks so no change there then.
Going to take him out for the Champions League final on saturday down the Beckett so if anyone wants to buy him one that`s where he`ll be...... cheering on Barca no doubt.

Should be enough memories from the good old days of Norris running the away trips, the one handed driver and the total disaster that was an away game on an ICC coach.
Great days out for any piss artist and nige could sink a couple when he wanted.

I thought I would just mention that the little fellow is going to attend his first game at the Amex on saturday against Blackpool. I don`t think I have ever seen him so looking forward to a match quite so much. It is only recently that he has realised that Blackpool were relegated as they looked quite good in early february I think before his stroke.
We are going to be in the South/East corner and I`ve told him no Klinsman style dives on the pitch just yet.
He had his Gillingham programme open when I popped in tonight and his radio already tuned to radio Sussex for the match tonight and then I had to break it to him that it is actually on tomorrow. The language that comes out of that boys mouth.
Going to have a good walk round between 1.30 and 2.00 so hopefully he`ll bump into old friends.

Fantastic news - I am really pleased Sid. I'll give Nige a name check on the PA at half-time. Welcome back Nige. Falmer was won for fans like you mate.
