Just to let his many friends on here know that the little felled passed away this morning after a long illness.,. He was chipper right up to the end and when I went round he was at peace,
A great Albion fan and I’m sure a lot of people will remember him well from the 70’s until his stroke a few years back.
Ian Hart will be along in time to put up funeral details… I can tell you now it’ll be Albion shirts all round. His lounge is still a shrine to our boys. I am absolutely gutted …. RIP little big man,

How sad. I cannot say I knew him personally but certainly knew 'of him' especially during the war-years; he was quite a character.

RIP

Probably never said anything more to him than “alright?” but isn’t that all most of us have said to each over as we’re squeezing past each other in a pub doorway in Doncaster, getting off a train in Peterborough or looking across the street in Walsall.

But he was a ‘face’ I grew up with back in the day, Possibly through rose tinted specs but a time there seemed to be more camaraderie between the Albion faithful.

Condolences to his family and to those closest to him.

Very sad to hear that. He was a proper fixture of those days, even for those of us who who met him briefly or not at all. His belly slide when Gulls Eye sponsored a match will never be forgotten by those who saw it.

All the best to those of you who knew and loved him.

So sorry to hear this - I know he was a great mate of yours @Questions as well as @Lenny Rider and others on here. I knew Bushfire from the glory days of Chapmans and he was always great fun to chat with.

Sad news. Active during the gory years for which we will all be in his debt.

RIP Nigel.

Like others not someone I knew personally but certainly knew of and recognised. There was always a mention or three of his escapades in Gulls Eye and, in those days, I read GE from cover to cover.

Will have loads of friends on here - my condolences to all of you. No one better than Harty to look after him now.
