After the 0-0 at their place, he was sounding really arrogant on the radio interview, but I gave him a chance there as he was new to the job and has to BIG them up so to speak, they've not been within touching distance of us all season really.

I'm just so thankful that we have a manager who quietly goes along with his business and isnt arrogant and is a true pro in how he deals with the media.

Yes Southampton have a big fan base, a nice ground and the players to not only go up but they should have walked this league, if they end up in the play-offs its a MASSIVE under-achievement by soton and I pray that they get done by Bmouth in the playoffs.

Interestingly, there seems to be a certain amount of disquiet about Mr Adkins from a few Saints fans - listened to BBC Soylent Green en route back from Brizzle yesterday and the first text on their 'Fan's Phone-In' was about how clueless he is. I seem to remember somebody saying that about him [and his cohorts] when caught on camera at the Man Utd cup tie as well.

With Cortese pulling the strings there's a good chance he'll be given the boot close season if they only make the play-offs, I think.
