One of them is just off - Jackson failed a medical. Maybe that's why they're going for Zaniolo?Bournemouth have made two VERY good signings recently.

At work I sit next to a French guy and a Spanish guy. Both suprised went to club like bournemouth, especially the one from french league (ouattara)Do you know much about them or are you just going off he fees? Really would be just our luck is they start against us and are good.
Because our current league position and form comes off the back of us outspending other 'small' PL clubs for players...?Gonna be depressing if we get overtaken by muff in the coming years. Hopefully they go down this season
Mad that some of our fans STILL think the more you spend = the more success a club has.Gonna be depressing if we get overtaken by muff in the coming years. Hopefully they go down this season
If with their new American owners they become Chelsea Lite, it’s a possibility. Even so I would not want to be a plucky fan any more than I want to be a Chelsea one. SpitGonna be depressing if we get overtaken by muff in the coming years.
Ouattara mainly went to Bournemouth because plucky's new chairman has just bought a minority stake in Lorient. At work I sit next to a French guy and a Spanish guy. Both suprised went to club like bournemouth, especially the one from french league (ouattara)
Yup. He’s not going there!Ouattara mainly went to Bournemouth because plucky's new chairman has just bought a minority stake in Lorient.
Can you imagine being Zaniolo's agent?
Agent "So, we've received a bid for a permanent transfer from the Premier League."
Player "Great. Is it Spurs or Chelsea?" "
Agent "No, Bournemouth."
Player "Vaffanculo."
The correlation between wage bill and League position has over the seasons been very strong but granted that is not transfer fees. I have a strong suspicion that many of our failures to sign are wages.Mad that some of our fans STILL think the more you spend = the more success a club has.
Surely the club will already have sounded out the player via their agent as to what wages would be acceptable before they even start talking to the other club about a fee?The correlation between wage bill and League position has over the seasons been very strong but granted that is not transfer fees. They may have done but so will have other clubs.Surely the club will already have sounded out the player via their agent as to what wages would be acceptable before they even start talking to the other club about a fee?
Absolute no chance of signing him. Move on.
Did wonder when I read these why you were so sure? Bournemouth were close and Leeds may get him - he’d have come to us if we wanted I’m sure - Roma & Jose literally desperate to get rid. Don’t think we were in for him, but if we wanted him we could have surely got him?I can’t believe people actually believe we are in for him. Move on.
Yeah felt like we'd be paying a big fee/wages for a player the parent club wasnt that bothered about keeping. May be misreading the situation but seemed like he was being shopped around by his agent as he knew the door was wide open to leave RomaSo he ended up at Galatasaray.
Very random ending to it all.
Feel like we dodged a bullet with this one. That's if we were even actually in for him, feel like our name was used to get a higher transfer fee.
Zerbi specifically said in an interview we were never in for him. We couldn't afford his wages.Doubt we were in for him but still don’t get the many posts saying we’d have no chance, when we surely could have had him if we’d wanted… Too much football manager?
