The issue we have is that we’ve lost an experienced EPL 28yr old forward plus Mwepu this season so far.

Yes, we can bring in the likes of Enciso, Ayari and Buenonotte but these are boys, stars of the future. I think we need a player ‘for now’, those ones are very expensive. We’ve paid relatively big money (for us) for players like Maupay, Webster and Mwepu. We might have to spend a bit more this window if TB wants to push on and support RDZ with his drive for Europe (although the biggest factor this January is keeping Caicedo and Mac).

A quick look on Wikipedia (and Swansman's posts earlier on the thread) suggests that's heavily skewed by injuries getting on for 3 years ago, which isn't too concerning if his injury record since is normal enough.
