I don't see this as anything other than short-term logistical issues. If the EU will entertain admitting Moldova, Ukraine they'll fast track Scotland back in no time. Scotland is as much of a historic country as Croatia who also had no government or currency as they were governed from Belgrade, but it hasn't stopped them becoming an autonomous state in the EU (Also population c 6million)..

Good luck to them if that’s what they want. It doesn’t really affect us.

Suggest you research his recent rant in the Scottish Parliament where he went on an on that there were too many White people in positions of power in Scotland. Scotland is 98% white, hence the main reason why this is so. This and his quite nasty Anglophobic comments that have littered his political career, gives me good reason for calling him a racist. What if you or I said such comments about there being too many other ethnic people in the UK? That would rightfully be construed and condemned as equally vile and racist.
It's a cabal because they close ranks and the recent First Minister election was so obviously rigged by the Murrell's, with dead SNP members being asked to vote and 6,000 more voting forms being sent out that there were SNP members. Believe me, having lived up In Scotland for over 40 years, the last 16 of this pre WW2 Germany type government has been very sad and disturbing to see. replace balme the Jew with Blame the English and you get a sense of the parallels I draw. Coupled with very poor economic performance, highest drugs weather in Europe, plummeting education standards and an NHS that makes England look good; it all is a relief that we can finally begin to look at clearing away this rotten nationalist cabal and get some consensus , economically progressive politics back in the limelight.

She deserves to rot in Hell, and she will. Do not be fooled.

I think this is politically the most significant thing with these developments.

A year ago it was tempting to conclude that Scotland was pretty much a permanent SNP stronghold and that independence was a near certainty in the next decade.

Those would both be catastrophic for the long term prospects of labour. They have work to do, but there is a massive opportunity for them to be the main beneficiary of the SNP's travails
