Probably get slated and expect I'm on my own but despite the goals never really taken to Forster. Not really sure why but the constant moaning/whining to anyone within ear shot does my head in. If it is true he wants two years think the club are right to hold fire and see what league we will be in. 38 by the time we get to Falmer and would be on a considerable wage so maybe it is best to say thanks and goodbye and use his wages on others and hope Murray/Dickinson/Holroyd step up. BUT imagine the Caskey kid goes with Forster which would be a big loss.

I think you'll find most captains are moany and shout at people, thats what they are supposed to do.

If you read the post I quoted it would probably make a little more sense...

i read, you still talking nonsence. it wasnt aimed specifically at you though, but others who have made the irrelevent link between two different players contracts. theres no reason for El-Abd to come in to this this debate.

Well I for one didn't see this coming - not the timing of it anyway, although that Argus article of a couple of months ago was a warning.

IMHO, I'd take a guess that he wants a new 2 yeal deal - and we've offered him only 1.

Perhaps we only made this offer to him this week - after the window shuts, in the knowledge that he won't be going anywhere this season.

Not good news, especially on the eve of a very important game.

If Forster is out of contract this summer and the club have not offered another, then that seems pretty clear to me.

The club need to get a statement out sharpish. Forster is one of, if not THE most important player at the club, he's certainly the most senior. We deserve to know WTF is going on for him to have slapped in a transfer request today.

Absolutely, no truer statement on this entire thread. SORT HIS NEW CONTRACT OUT NOW BLOOM, FFS

If its true, then so what. He cant be transferred anywhere now in anycase. So he will keep playing with us, still scoring goals to a) make Poyet give him a deal or b)put himself in the shop windown during the close season. So whatever, it makes no difference to the Albion for this season.

If during the summer he goes, so what. Yes a good player, but he is 38. If we really want to go places then we surely need to start attracting players who are a lot younger and who are currently good i.e the Ricky Lamberts of this world. I'd offer him a year at wages approaching the average of the squad (that takes him to nearly 39). If he can find something better, then I wish him well.

Sorry but the only conformation of this is from Sky Sports News? Sky's news breaking motto is never wrong for long! Not saying it is wrong but this seems like a blatant attempt by the agent to sort a contract now rather than later? Even the way it is written on the Sky screen shot seems straight out of the mouth of an agent.

FRUIT OF THE BLOOM
He is my favorite player and is our best player still in my opinion.

It does now however make him abit of a cock unless there is something we are missing.
The timing of the request is not only ludicrous its actually pointless.

The timing is irrelevant.

He can go on loan from next week, and with only 4 or so months left on his contract, he can have it terminated, or paid up at not too much expense. He can then be a free agent and do what he likes - although that Vanessa Perroncel bird is probably off limits

Lost
In 2008 Sky News reported that Prince Phillip was dead. He is, as far as I’m aware, still with us.

It’s entirely possible that the reason there’s no confirmation or denial 3 hours later is because no-one outside NSC is even aware there’s anything going on…

I am starting to think that this is all bullshit. But it does (and this may be what it was designed to do) raise the question and need to get Fozzie signed up. I would give him a 2 year deal with the 2nd year being as player coach.
