Don't get me wrong, he's not of the quality and just as importantly the flair of other Arsenal players but some of the shit on here is LAUGHABLE, especially from HEFFALUMP.

As someone else said, if you put him at any mid table side he'd be a very decent striker, the trouble is at Arsenal he's amongst some amazingly skillfull footballers. I appreciate he's still nowhere near the same league as Ibrahimovic but I always feel a similar thing whenever I catch Barca this season, Ibrahimovic just comes accross as a donley because of the players he's playing with.

Jesus. Next people will be championing Kevin Davies, from the look of it some people like complete donkey strikers. ??? If that's what you like, fair enough. Personally, I'd rather not have a "striker" like Bendtner. I think the fact that he's been in the side for EXACTLY the same length of time they've won sod all says an awful lot about his ability.

fabregas has been in the side for EXACTLY the same length of time they've won sod all as well - so juding by that yard stick, he must be wank?

he gives arsenal a different dimension. just because he doesnt get a massive amount of goals doesnt mean he is a bad player - look at zamora last season. couldnt hit a cows arse with a banjo, fans on his back saying he was shit, yet hodgson said he was their most important player

arsenal have missed bendtner this season, and i think he will have an important role to play in the run-in

It was just one of those games for Nicklas Bendtner, he seemed destined not to score. The support he was given from the fans was great - his name sung and heartily clapped when he was subbed in a genuine way. Eduardo and Arshavin both missed easy chances as well. I didn't hear one bad word said against Bendtner all game. He's not prolific, never will be but he'll get some vital goals throughout the season and his movement was brilliant to get into those positions anyway.

Have to mention Theo Walcott. Absolute genius! Worth every penny going to see him and has to be in the World Cup squad. He had an outstanding game.

Really enjoyed yesterday. Match was very entertaining, beautiful weather and a long pub crawl. The Flying Scotsman was as good as we thought it would be, Brentford's firm in there on their way back from Leeds.

And while we're on the subject of crap Arsenal players, Fabianski and Eboue deserve mentions. Shocking players. Arsenal Wenger doesn't always get them right, clearly.

All else has failed, it's time for Carlos Vela!

You literally don't have a clue. Eboue has been playing right back the last few weeks and has been BRILLIANT.

It's his natural position, not midfield.

And also your opinion of kevian davies being a 'donkey' is again another exa
ple of your MADNESS. He is consistantly effective for Bolton and scored a THUMPER yesterday.

But again, don't let these deter you on your one man mission of creating the worlds most bizarre 'bold statements'

He's a guaranteed 20 goals a season striker - no doubt.

Unfortunately he'd need 75 games a season with 10 clear chances a game to get them.

To be fair he's not all bad but at that level you just can't get away with missing many.

he might look like shite more often than not, and be a typical egotistical EPL twat (no.52 I ask you), but mark my words people, once Wenger's finished with him he will be all class...

"Before it starts I wanted to change my squad number from 26 which I’ve obviously had for a number of seasons now. I chose to move to 52 because it’s a special number to me personally, and I hope that it brings me good luck for the new season."

Pleased to hear about Walcott, he'd be my first choice if fully fit and on form.

Agree with you about Bendtner, he'll never be a 20-a-season goalscorer but he adds a different dimension to a 'let's pass it in' Arsenal. I'm suprised nobody's mentioned his goal against Stoke, beat two tall Stoke defenders(can't remember who) and placed a header into the corner.

But you can all stick to your opinions, ignorance could be bliss I s'pose.

If I played for Arsenal I would score more goals than Bendtner has done. A bold statement, but frankly, I think the majority of people could say it and be true.

As for the sheer stupidity of the second comment, you've earnt the  . Opinions don't matter, but we're on places like this to share them.

Tit.

Bendtners First Attempt on Goal
6/1 over the bar

Pretty good odds considering it'll likely be a header.
