Yep. I'd agree with that. I genuinely have no idea what a normal value is anymore. No idea what calibre of player £20m gets now.

But more to the point, it just shows how these premier league riches are a bit of an empty vessel. Sure, you get £10's of millions thrown at you, but then you just throw them away again in the hope of staying up and getting the £10's of millions again. And everyone else does the same, but three still go down regardless, and find themselves not much better off then when they started.
