It's another brilliant piece of business by Newcastle. They needed a top quality goalkeeper to take over from Dubravka who will be the best second choice in the league.

Great shot stopper, do rate anything else about his game though, not the sort of signing I thought a more progressive playing Newcastle would go for, but then again Smug Eddie always tried to pretend he wasn’t a hoof ball merchant.

He might be lined up as their future number 2 while they seek for someone better.. I wish we would have a stronger number 2 to keep Sanchez on his toes.
