Lib Dems are made up of people who cannot make up their mind what they want or stand for so why should Nick Clegg change a trend and opt to make a decision, which would be totally alien to his party and its members. I have no like for labour but even less for a party with no idea of what they stand for.

What an absolute load of bollocks. Have you been saying this for the last 30 years without looking at how the world has changed??

Feb 1974 the Tories polled more than Labour but had less MP's.

Jeremy Thorpe met Ted Heath at No 10 but couldn't do a deal.

They got 0.7% more to be precise.

If the march really was with them, and this government really is that bad, the Tories should be way out of sight in the opinion polls. As it is, we're discussing a hung parliament as a real possibility.


Agree. Given the track record of Neo Labour the Tories should be well ahead. The fact that they are doing relatively poorly demonstrates what little real support they have.

In truth none of the "major" parties have the support of more than about 25%of eligable voters.
