I like watching my children with their friends, just seeing how they interact, conduct themselves and contribute to a fun environment.

paddling in the sea, my 2 kids making me laugh, seeing a rainbow, being in a tent in the rain, seeing a wild animal whilst out walking, having a barbeque with family, hearing a song I like on the radio that brings back a memory for me, hearing a baby giggling, snow.

Our cat Daisy Coco.

Who's that gorgeous little baby?
Who's that boy we all adore?
Daisy Coco is his name
And meowing is his game
And we don't mention other cats any more.

Sitting in my garden reading ( yes I can) on a summers evening here in Brighton. Or hearing the 03:50 Victoria whizz past Preston Park on a winters morning knowing you still have a few hours left in bed.

Sausages from Partridge Green
Fresh baked bread

I prefer 'moist wipes' for the final wipe to leave you 'shower fresh'... Which leads me onto my selection:

Chicken tickka naan kebab, with salad, garlic mayo and chilli sauce!

Life and my family.

I was told in 1995 that unless I stopped smoking and heavy drinking not to book a holiday as I would lose the deposit but due to stopping both I am still here being a nuisance to everybody.

Western Australian sunsets are pretty breathtaking, having a pidgeon pair of healthy pleasant kids, watching them play sport always (however crap they may be), having a wife 11 years younger who loves me, being able to live in this wonderful place, being taken to see The Albion as a nipper by my dad and thereby being forever joined to one of the most interesting rollercaoster football clubs ever, hearing music both old and recognised and new and undiscovered....

They say the best things in life are free and I certainly agree with that.

So what simple things mean a lot to you? (keep it clean please!)

I'll start with a nice clean bed with fresh sheets and beautiful autumnal mornings with golden sunshine and tree leaves.

Must say, I love my bed, and one of my favourite things is waking up on it, with both my cats asleep on it with me. A simple thing, but very precious to me.
