Seriously?
I know a few of you don't like Leeds but being half Yorkshire means I'm mostly on the fence when it comes to Leeds United until we play them, then I'm all blue and white.
Anyway, just been on WACCOE and although it might have been reported elsewhere and I'm about to be fixtured, here are some comments:

That is good news for Brighton, they've been battling for that ever since The Goldstone was taken away from them.

Brilliant news it just goes to show if you get off your arse you can make a difference, if it weren't for the fans Brighton would still be playing at Gillingham.

Grew up in east sussex and saw the seagulls at the goldstone on several occasions, never at gillingham or the withdean thankfully! Having that ground sold from beneath them felt like the heart was being ripped out of the community and this whole business with leeds at the minute feels like history repeating itself.
I reckon they will go to from strength to strength as there is no other league club in Sussex and no similar sports like rugby league(or union) to compete with. I think the locals will also take a lot of pride in the new stadium and there are also a lot of passionate and knowledgeable football fans in the area who will follow the club and it will probably model itself on a club like reading.
Mind you having said all that once its built hopefully leeds will only have to play them in the cup rather than the league!

Well done Brighton fans.
It is they and they alone that have kept the club going and pressed for the new ground. They have been shafted at every possible level and still they have managed to succeed.
An inspiration to every set of fans who are shafted.
And just because we are in the brown stuff up to our necks, doesn't meen we cannot be pleased for others.

Well done Brighton, don't like to see any football club going to the wall, no matter who they are. These things shouldn't happen in football, its not right. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/soapbox.gif)
Even wouldn't be happy if scum went tits up, after all whats the point in footy without hatred and rivalry?

I'd firstly like Leeds fans to know that a large number of Brighton fans are keeping an eye on your situation at the moment.
I'd also like to thank Leeds fans who have sent the odd email or letter in support of our stadium.
Our success has been greatly assisted by the help of fans from OTHER clubs.
I won't forget this and neither should fans of other clubs when their own obsession is going through a period of stability and or success.
It's because we have been brought up to relish the rivalries on a Saturday afternoon, that we must show solidarity during the dark days.
All the best Leeds and I look forward to your first visit to our Cathedral by the sea.
