First off I apologise for the look at my holiday that, not that’s out the way.

We’re off to Niagara Falls next week and so will be away for the Ajax home match. The problem is can’t seem to find any bars showing it, have messaged several. I know we have a few Canadian posters here, although appreciate not in the Niagara area. Just wondered if anyone knew of anywhere that would be showing it, or any advice about streaming it over there?

I can't help in terms of finding a bar in Niagara. You can watch it with us in Toronto if you're up for a 4 hour round trip though :lolol:

Having said that, if you find a sports bar with lots of screens I'm sure you'll be able to get them to put it on. I don't think 3PM on a Thursday will be too busy.

All the European matches are on DAZN. They also show the NFL, so most sports bars should have it.

EDIT: Looks like there's a Shoeless Joe's by the casino. They will have loads of screens.

I was in Canada last month, struggled to find anywhere showing games that was convenient (including in Toronto and Vancouver) so just used the usual dodgy streams on my Ipad when I could ……

We will be doing Toronto, but not sure when, the plan at the moment is Boston - Montreal - Lake Musoka - Niagara - Syracuse - Boston. We're going to do Toronto either on our way down from Musoka, or as you say a round trip from Niagara
The Shoeless Joe's is very handy to know, as we're staying by the casino, well in the same complex, so that's great to hear thank you. We were banking on Hooters as the kids love the wings, but they don't have DAZN apparently.

Shoeless Joe, btw, was one of the players accused of throwing, intentionally playing poorly, in the 1919 World Series of baseball portrayed in a movie called "8 Men Out" about the Chicago White Sox scandal. Joe Jackson should be in Baseball's Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY but the scandal cost him more dearly than any other player.

Wait until you get there, then ask the locals If they can recommend a stream :lolol:

A good free site for streaming sports here in Canada: Liveru.sx

Most streams have you click through a number of pop-ups before they let you turn on the sound and expand to full screen.

My mate lives near Niagra Falls and he reckons it's SHITEHOUSE.
That's actually quite accurate as @dazzer6666 says. The area down by the falls is nice but the town of Niagara Falls is full of tacky amusement arcades and a giant casino.

@Charles 'Charley' Charles I'd recommend visiting Niagara-on-the-Lake too. It's a nice little town just up from Niagara Falls. Also, if you're driving from Muskoka to Niagara, you'll probably be passing right by Toronto. I woulld suggest stopping on the way rather than a round trip from the Falls because it's not a great journey and you're guaranteed to be sitting in traffic. Toronto and the surrounding highways are basically just a giant traffic jam.

Yep. I've been twice and my defining memory is of loads of people in ponchos getting drenched by the water. It's an impressive sight seemingly now built on commercialisation...

Niagra Falls itself is amazing... I went 20 years ago and was blown away by it. But obviously the North Americans have hugely commercialised it and made the area shit - the Yanks worse than the Canadians, but they've both done it. Shame really

That is certainly the more preferential option to do Toronto on the way down. Will definitely look into Niagara -on-The-Lake, thank you 👍
