That sounds positive because the word we all dread apart from cancer is 'spread' . once when waiting for post cancer check up I commented on full waiting room and doc said 'thats because theres so many survivors!' hang on in there and think about what you'll be doing when you are better.

keep getting better mate....i saw the specialst a couple of weeks ago and he told me that if they hadn't treated this that I have, I was about 30 minutes away!!! It really concentrates the mind. BUT I am still here and feeling a hell of a lot better ( even though i can only drink a very small amount of alcohol)

Chin up, you are in the best hands and don't be afraid to ask for pain relief!!

take care mate

Right a bit of an update. My biopsy tissue has gone to a lynphnoma specialist at deriford (plymouth) Hospital. Im going to hospital to pick up some crutches because i need them apparantly. The good news is that the cancer isnt spreading down my leg. The cancerous mass in my hip is against the sciatic nerve so thats why the pain spreads down the leg. They also reckon that the hip bone will heal itself once all my treatments finished so i shouldnt need a new hip lol.
Id just thought ill add that they probaly wont have any results this side of the weekend.

Some good positive stuff in there mate, stay strong and positive

Cornish, I'd like to apologise.

I saw your thread title along time ago and decided to avoid it. I'm not very good with people talking about ailments. A couple of days ago though, I decided to take a look as I began to realise that it was getting quite a lot of attention, and I wondered why. I'm glad I did now.

My best wishes go out to you chap, and I hope that you see this through to the other side. Good luck, and keep on smiling.

I have to confess that I am in the same boat. Read through the thread a couple of evenings ago to see why it was hanging around.

Judging by where you're domiciled, Cornish, do I presume that you're attending Treliske hospital? My office is about a mile from there (Threemilestone).

Hope to read more about things improving. Chin up.

I'm one of those nightmare motability customers, although I don't smell of wee :lolol:

Im a fully trained motability aftersales specialist lol Ive got the certificate and everything. Its a good scheme especially when they can have so many nominated drivers.
Some people do raise an eyebrow and question there disabilty when they do walk in. They automaticly think that if they can walk and talk that they are playing the system.
If you dont understand the scheme then you dont deserve to judge thats my view. Are you happy with it mate did you get a diesel?

Over the moon with the car, got a zafira 1.7 elite ecoflex but it has the new 2011 spec 125ps engine as opposed to the 110ps, although I can't get anywhere near the alleged 55-60mpg but anything is an improvement on my old t plate 2.5 omega elite auto :lolol:, we did kings last week on just over £20 compared to £45 in the omega . When you factor in my insurance has gone upto £80 month on the omega it actually saves us money to have the zafira based on the fuel saving and insurance savings alone, although we had a nightmare getting the car authorised as mrs had a scooter on the scheme previously that we had to end the contract on early. All I have to do now is get my plate put on it (which I had to put in womans name lol). Oh and frosts "lost" the car for 3 weeks .
