NFL Games at Wembley

Was it a 49ers home game then ?
I stand to be corrected, but its usually the smaller teams who "host" the Wembley fixtures.

Yes they hosted the Denver Broncos couple of years ago, the Broncos, who are one game away from the Superbowl.

To say ''its just a regular season game'' is also miseleading, they only have 16 of them, each one extremely important.

Were you expecting the AFC or NFC championship games then? or the Superbowl?

Obviously not.

And it IS just a regular season game, ie not an exhibition, thats the point. So of course its important, thats why each one is such an event here. I wouldn't bother tuning in otherwise.

Going to the Cowboys / Jaguars game.
I'm a Broncos fan but like last year I'll be giving my full support to the Jags at Wembley.

The Jags really are the most non entity franchise the NFL have, it would be like the Premier League sending Palace to America to grow the sport over there

Maybe but as they've committed to four 'home' games over here I feel it's only fair to support them as the home team. It also helped that they were playing the 49ers last year who I hate with a passion.

Went last year to the Vikings/Steelers game and loved it, fantastic atmosphere throughout the whole day... Got tickets for all three this year and at last the 'mighty' Falcons are coming, cannot wait for that one!

Gutted as I've wanted to see the Falcons for years, the tickets finally come up and I'm not really in the position at this EXACT time to pay for two tickets.

Going to just have to try throughtout the year to get a pair. Slightly aggrieved.
