Was never a fan of Schumacher when he was racing, but he was an undoubted talent and is one of the top 2-3 drivers there has been to date. Yeah, he had his moments of madness, but then did Senna, who was the best.

I'm not sure I want him back, times have moved on a bit, and its time for the next generation. Then again a measure of how good you are is if you can beat everyone, and the only real threat he had in his Ferrari years were from Hakkinen. If he does come back it'll be quite a season with him, Hamilton, Alonso in the Ferrari and Vettel.

Interestingly though the races next year will be different. He was very good at the short sprint, refuelling dominated races, but without refulling next year, it will be more about longer stints and tyre management. Will be interesting how he fares!

Good point I'd forgotten how Brawn and Schumacher schemed so many overtaking manoueveres on pit stops.
