Next years easter Holidays

Can anyone ever remember Easter school Holidays not being linked to Good Friday and easter Sunday?

Nope.

My children finish on March 20th for Easter though and go back on the 16th April.

I don't remember it before. The Sunday Times ran this a month or so back since for parents who like to go away at Easter, this coming Easter is offering a chance at getting away without the 'school holiday' premium for a change since a lot of holiday companies had structured their pricing around the bank holiday weeks again.

Their might not be a lot of this sort of value left now, however, as a few travel magazines and newspaper travel sections have latched onto it.
