Sorry didnt make it clear us and Boro to win all of our games prior to 7th May when a draw would suffice for both of us to get promoted.

It's alright, it was obvious what you meant. sheebo was being cheeky. You should give him a clip round the ear, youngens should respect their elders.

 However, once again I'll point out I'd rather Albion won all their 5 games and Boro lost all 5 of theirs. Actually maybe give them a point at Burnley. How can anyone 'want' Boro to win their games (apart from maybe the Burnley one)? It makes no sense..

Its wishful thinking hoping that Burnley drop points at Brum. If Leeds can win there, last night, Burnley should as well. Boro will cruise to victory at Bolton, so we have to beat Fulham. Only after that, can we look at next Tuesday and decide what result we want. Personally, I'm hoping for a Boro win and if we can beat QPR, the league table will look like this
BORO.............88
BHA................84
BURNLEY......83
We then have to hope that Preston do us a favour in the Lancs derby but I suspect Burnley will keep it tight ( Preston struggle to score ) and get at least a point. Boro will beat Ipswich so if we can win at Charlton, it looks like this....
BORO.............91
BHA................87
BURNLEY......84
All three win their penultimate games.....
BORO............94 ( Champions )
BHA................90
BURNLEY.......87
Which leaves us needing a point at Boro as Burnley will beat Charlton on the last day.....phew....its gonna be tight!

Hope we don`t go two nil down at Charlton and have to rely on them getting red card to redeem situation..as in home game

The logic with which some (not aimed at BG) will answer you is breathtaking.

We didn't rely on them getting a red. We were about to go 2-2 when they brought down Zamora, who was through on goal.

FRUIT OF THE BLOOM
Lets just beat Fulham and see what happens over the weekend, that will be hard enough, Fulham are in form and score goals, will be a tough game

The logic is that if both us and Boro win the next 4 games and another 2 teams take points off of Burnley as well as Boro taking 3 points off of them the fixture at Middlesbro will have little relevance to the outcome of promoted clubs so no chance of a banana skin situation. Alternatively some team beat Burnley as well as Boro.

Personally, I think it would be a fitting end to the season, for the fixture at the Riverside to decide whether us or Boro will finish top, or second, with Burnley out of the equation.

This "logic" that dictates that as Leeds beat Brum then Burnley certainly will is flawed. Burnley only beat Leeds because Chris Wood somehow contrived to miss all the easiest sitters of the season in one match. Leeds only beat Brum because Dallas scored a belter.

It does appear that Birmingham's chance of the playoffs has gone but I wouldn't write them off v Burnley who have looked far from convincing in all their recent matches.

That would be the ideal scenario and give for a good game but is it possible for Burnley to drop so many points that we are both 4 points clear of them. That would need us to win 4 games and Burnley lose 2. or to Boro and draw 2 others out of 4, very unlikely.

I perfectly understand what you're saying, but if we're doing hopeful wishes, Boro losing their next 5 would be the wish

Unreal.

Once again....only if they were playing Burnley....which they are not.......Bolton are playing Boro.

Well then they might have the north western pride to beat a north eastern side. Or they may not. Or they may be so crap that they couldn't beat Bury, Rochdale, or the local pub team. Or they are down anyway and will play with a sang-froid knowing their fate and spring a surprise.

Quite a lot could happen really.

Seasons form suggests Burnley will draw next 3, our form is good for 2 wins out of next 3 with QPR being as likely a draw as a win, if we get the 3 wins and Burnley stick to form, we are 4 clear of Burnley and at worst 2 behind Boro going into the penultimate round, where the form for the season is a bit more against us.
It is a realistic possibility, as much as any other scenario.

We can do nothing about Burnley now. It is very unlikely that any of the top three will win all their remaining games. We are four points from the top and two from second as well as fifteen points clear of seventh place. A very good place to be with five games remaining. :rave::rave::clap2::clap2:
