I see Betfred, Bet365 and Coral are all going 16/1 for promotion next season. One company that stands out as remarkably bad value is Victor Chandler, at a measly 9/1. Bearing in mind that Tony Bloom used to work for them, could it be that they've had a tipoff?

Premier Bet's founder Tony Bloom was formerly trading director in charge of football at the Victor Chandler International offices in Gibraltar. A brilliant statistician and high-stakes poker player, Bloom is an extremely shrewd professional punter, especially where football is concerned. Bloom's other great love is American football and he's renowned for taking time out to study the form near warm weather NFL training camps in Florida and California during the British winter.
But despite all this, there is value to be found. Premier Bet, who have pioneered Asian handicap betting in the UK, is still a relatively new company, eager to attract customers. Sometimes they will open themselves up and take a position about a match or tournament that a bookmaker less hungry for business wouldn't dare to contemplate. That can give the punters an advantage.
TOP TIP:
Study their markets closely and respect Bloom's judgement, but remember that from time to time he'll give you a chance. If they ever start trading on the NFL they are likely to be a lot sharper than the Big Three.

Being really thick here but where does one bookies firm go to place that sort of money. Another bookie or is there some big network where bookies go to bet themselves?

Yes, bookies bet with each other, and these days of the internet, they go on sites such as Betfair and bet against other 'traders'. It's all a numbers game!.

Interstingly, VC are the first to shorten their odds on Huddersfield Town, after The Terriers made their third signing in ten days. Huddersfield and Brighton are now both 9/1 with Chandler.

That is interesting given that our squad is now weaker than it was at the end of a season where we finished well behind Huddersfield, whilst theirs is now stronger.
more likely to be 3/1 at best for a promotion spot or up via the play offs.

Southampton will be front runners, at this stage I wouldnt put any money on where we will finish. Because we have not signed anyone yet!
