Its about being positive IF we go down

I'm sorry how can you be POSITIVE?! The attendances will go down to around 4,000. Half this season squad will not be here, we'll be left with a mix of youth and probably about three recognisable faces in Cox, Whing and Elphick. We'll be playing teams such as Morecambe and Accrington Stanley and the football is dire. I can't see us getting straight out of League Two, because you need a Zamora type Esque striker, we'll also be working around alot of promising young loanees from Championship and Premierships teams, and who will want to manage us in the bottom division?! This doesn't look good with Falmer just round the corner does it.....

f*** sake.

I fail to understand why people are being positive about us going down.

We could go out of the LEAGUE if we keep this up, and travelling 300 miles to some slum in the middle of nowhere is NOT a good thing in any way.

I have seen a lot of Conference games as an occasional observer of Oxford United. The standard of Conference football has risen significantly in recent years. However, having accompanied some mates to Oxford away games during the last three seasons, I can say that we don't want to be thinking of going to places like Weymouth, Histon and Salisbury to watch the Albion.

Now you've said that, looking at their away support this season, it is better than a lot in this division, and the majority in league 2.
Evidently they took around 1200 to FGRovers last weekend.
If this season continues the way it is, their average home attendence will be higher than ours.
Just dont mention the Plasterers arms.
Do we assume they are a bigger club than us?
