And Eileen Drewery.

I can imagine Glen and Eileen doing palm readings in their caravan on the pier.

I would be alright with Hoddle, although I know after a while he would start to annoy the **** out of me if we weren't storming the league. At least he would play youngsters and run a decent academy

Be very happy with hoddle.

Great manager with impressive record. Think his style of football would suit the club and he's English.

His constant flicking the Vs towards the disabled supporters could get awkward.
And a quite disgusting view on disability
Have I got this roughly right: when the press decided they didn't want him as England manager anymore, they asked him if (as Buddhist) he thought disabled people had done things wrong in a previous life, and he said yes? Has he said much else against the disabled?

That's 2 long term NSC posters who have clearly hit their heads on the ceiling.

You might be right. I'm getting over the dizziness of the last 24hrs. The latest episode must have been traumatic for me because for some reason the post of Andrei Kanchelskis being spotted in Brighton came to mind.

Top manager. No.1 choice for me. Of course though, we are Brighton and even his superb c.v is not worthy of such a footballing powerhouse.

Spot on Trig, the usual Red Tops made a sensation out of a mole hill by slating him over a religious belief.

Wait, so you're not allowed to attack someone's ridiculous beliefs if those beliefs are "religious"?
He believes in reincarnation, and how you behave in this life effects who you are in the next life, which is fine - but he should have said that he didn't think being disabled was a bad thing, so no, they hadn't done anything wrong in their previous life. So I think he was really stupid, but that doesn't mean he's anti disabled.

He got Swindon to the premier league having taken over in div 3. Swindon. He won cups with Chelsea when they were still underachievers before abramovich. England played better under him than any other manager since bobby robson and his tactical nous nearly won us the game against Argentina with 10 men, when he kept 2 strikers on and had them alternating between defence and attack. He has a strong interest in coaching and developing young players.

But no, of course he's not good enough for Brighton.

I would not care if someone danced with the fairies everyday as long as they got Brighton promoted. Glen Hoddle does have has some footballing credentials that could work at Brighton like being an ex manager of the national side.
