Brighton factually.....
I'm shocked. I thought Champions League was like a football magic money tree

Not including the tv money.

Stage Prize Money
Winner €20m
Runner-up €15.5m
Semifinalists €12.5m
Quarterfinalists €10.6m
Round of 16 €9.6m
Group-stage wins €2.8m
Group-stage draws €930k
Reaching group stage €15.64m

I'm not sold on Postecoglu. He's managed in Australia, Japan, Greece and Scotland. None of those leagues are anywhere near top tier. And then qualifying for the world cup from the Asian qualifying group isn't much of an achievement, nor is winning the Asian cup.

However he does seem quite versatile in his tactics and formations, and I'm willing to accept my lack of excitement about him as a potential candidate could just be born out of ignorance and prejudice(It's not as exciting getting an Aussie as it is a Brazilian genius).

I also have no idea if he's a genuine contender. If he is then I trust the club to make the right choice.

I'm not against Crofty getting it. Continuity - knows the squad inside/out. Would maintain the Potter style. It wouldn't surprise me.

Whoever the next manager is, I am predisposed to respect him/her. There is an immense challenge to reassure the players, put together a team of excellent coaches, get the supporters on board, deal with the media, get the team playing the wonderful type of football that we have become accustomed to and get results.....

That's an incredibly tall order but I do feel there is someone out there who can do it. Let's just hope the choice is the right one.......

Nowhere near enough experience as a coach. It's a lot of stress to put on a young and new manager who is only 1 year or so into his career.

We should be and will be able to get someone in with a much better pedigree. De Zerbi, Der Knuts, Gallerdo and the Froggy Fella being prime examples of the level of candidates that we can get.

Starting to ooze cat for Martin in Swansea now.

Unlikely option - but would both be cheap and very easy to bring in.

??? Explain, please...

Ok I take it you don't have that expression in England.

Basically it means it is starting to look dangerous for him, Kaplan and Levien are not going to appreciate a relegation battle.
