Just about word for word verbatim for what every manager spouts a few days before they walk out and join their new club.

Marcelo bielsa would be a great appointment, did fantastic at Leeds, played great football.
Take him over lots of the other names being mentioned.

Emma Hayes, just a bit left field? Just saying ...
Didn’t potter say it’s not all about money in the last fortnight?
Shame the podcast wasn’t videoed to check for a smirk

You're right about it being cheap.
Hiring a woman is way too risky. Let someone else do it first. For a start the woman's game is below conference level. We wouldn't hire a manager from the conference would we, that would be laughed at.Would actually think this would be great. However looking at it from a purely statistical perspective her record in the states was poor and at Chelsea she must have had amazing talent. Not sure she’s got what it takes.

I've gone from wishing him well and being interested to see whether he is given the time to succeed at Chelsea, to having as little interest in his future as he has shown in ours.
Don;t know anything about him but can you state your case a little bit more so everyone can tear it apart?
For sure but just let a few clubs do it first to see how it goes.People who say that a woman can't manage a men's club should remember that it wasn't that long ago that the idea of a woman PM was seen as far-fetched (Thatcher said it wouldn't happen in her lifetime) and we've now had three. The idea of a woman bishop was seen as completely impossible but the first one has been appointed. Two hundred years ago, the idea that women could be doctors or judges would have been laughed at.
We've had women manage men in other football leagues, we have women referees in the men's game and we've had a female coach in county cricket. I have no idea whether B&B are looking at appointing a female but I'm certain that we'll see a female manager of a league club in my lifetime
Brian Schmetzer's Seattle Sounders FC finished 2nd in the Western Conference of MLS in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 & 2021. Every year they were the most consistent club in all of MLS. They are currently 9th in the Western Conference but could finish a bit higher. The MLS season ends soon, October 9.
Some may remember that Richie Towell had played for the Portland Timbers before he came to Brighton under Chris Hughton. In Portland Towell won an MLS cup with the Timbers. The team that gave Portland the toughest game on their way to the cup was Schmetzer's Seattle Sounders FC.

If he'd leave today, I'd put my money on Kjetil Knutsen.
Are you sure you mean Richie Towell? I thought it was Liam Ridgewell who joined us from Portland Timbers.
