Millwall 2nd?

About as believable as R Kelly's trapped in the closet video.

on their form in the second half of last season, they could easily be in the promotion shake up

Millwall 2nd?

I've spent the weekend with Mrs Gwylan's family, all Millwall through and through. They seem very confident about this season and are looking forward to promotion (they're not normally like this, they're normally doom and gloom at the start of the season).

And I reckon that 18th or 19th is about where we'll finish too. I think the NoW is spot-on about that.

We have made two good signings so far but lack competition in midfield. We have lost two French midfielders and Oatway. We are so light weight in that department

Thats an odd comparison - Oatway didn't even play last season and Frutos might as well have not so really we've only lost Bertin (who was only here for half the season anyway) and brought in 2 quality players in Whing and Forster so I'd say we're already up in the player stakes.

Then there's the possibility of Hinshlewood and Reid being back (who can both play midfield) so thats like signing 2 new players and with all the promising youngsters (Lynch, Rents, Fraser, Cox, Elphick and even Robinson) that should be that much better with another year under their belt so I think we're in a much better position for L2 than we were this time last year.

+ Wilkins will be bringing some loans in very soon

completely agree..I actually think we've got one of the strongest squads in this league and would be very surprised if we finished lower than 10th.

rank optimism but I'd buy it right now as an end of season position.

Personally I think we arre in for a relegation battle from the beginning to the end but hope to be proved wrong
