Apparently our keeper isn't Chris May, it's 'Albion Keeper'

Richard Martin. The one Liverpool were after.

It is Richard Martin but apparently he looks nervous, Joe Gatting has just missed a sitter.

Our keeper is Richard Martin.

Gatting Junior has just missed when one on one with their keeper.

Final score: we've lost 2-1.

We were the better side for most of the match according to El Pres...

Jake had a chance in injury time.
Indiana (my source) said there is an Everton scout there watching Jakey

A good performance by the boys - Jake was outstanding - although he should have scored in injury time when he was through at least two yards offside! (Some indifferent performances from the linesmen throughout the evening)
I think we were unlucky to have lost - we played some good football.

And GP said the ballet was very good last week!

El Pres is there with his mate the Ginger Prince!! (Not KM by the way).

They are not actually playing in the City of Manchester Stadium but the warm up pitch next door!

No ballet for GP this week then?:)

a change of priorities?

City were bigger and stronger than us, but the Albion had far more clear cut chances, with Jakey twice one on one against Kasper Schmeichal, but put one wide and one was a Gordon Smith '83 style smother. Gatting also had an excellent chance, but whilst he has the cool hairstyle of his dad, he also has the pace of his Uncle Mike.

Very, very bad mistake by the keeper for the equaliser, until then we had defended resolutely. He made some superb saves after that to his credit, and only other problem was that he seems to enjoy fisting anything that comes near him, rather than catching.

Winning goal was a sublime chip from the City Number 9, who was the best player on the park. But we still had a couple of chances to equalise in injury time, but they came to nothing.

Even the City fans were gracious enough to say we deserved something from the match, though the fact that another team in Manchester were losing in another cup match last night seemed to make them very happy.

Highlight of the match was a pitch invasion by an 8 year old scally who evaded the stewards and held up play, before being rugby tackled by Brighton Number 7 Dean Fogden.

The hammer net behind one of the goals and running track around the perimeter of the pitch reminded me of something, but I can't put my finger on it.

Ballet was rejected by Champagne Socialist the Ginger Prince, on the grounds that the ballet company was not up to his standards. He deigned to sit with the riff-raff, although for some bizarre reason was wearing a cast off suit formerly used by David Dickenson. At the curry house afterwards there was a party of 20 women celebrating a birthday, and in true GP style he offered to make their day by doing his strippogram routine, they wanted him in his firmeman or Superman outfit, buty sadly had to put up with accountant followed by Monty Burns.

Overall
