The pitch looks like a skating ring, seems quite dangerous.
Its just not possible out there. Quite evident that doing a lot of tackling and fighting out there is pretty much going to end in getting injured. Second half is most likely going to be equally slow.. and boring.
Is anyone moaning yet?
Bissouma tripped over a rut. They really shouldn’t be able to play rugby on a football league pitch.
On a more interesting note who is the seagull fan shown up the tree
Reasons why we should not have picked such a strong team (Bissouma, Maupay, Dunk, White, Webster, White, March should not have started imo):
1) Injuries. Look at that pitch and some of Newport’s fouls
2) Tiredness. We have 2 PL games in 6 games. Yes one is Man City but West Brom got a point there. A win at Leeds would be huge.
3) A lot of examples of a cup runs being bad for a season. See Hughton’s second season as the prime example.
4) If we don’t win, or go to extra time (more tiredness and injuries) how the **** is that going to build any confidence!
Take off Biss now.
Why has he been switched to the left?Ali J has been v poor
Did anyone see the Sun on Sunday piece today about a premier league manager that had offered to quit and board had said no.... Could be Potter or could of course been someone else
Need Maupay to do the half time team talk maybe?
It is common for back up keepers to have it in their contracts to start a percentage of Cup games.
