Correct.
It seems almost impossible to control the ball, we may have to mix it up a bit as its only going to get worse.

Reminds of Dagenham’s pitch a few years back, when Gus had to change his passing system to a route-one because of the state of their pitch. We hoofed it up to Murray, but we got the goal and won the game.

The last time Steele made regular appearances at first team level was at Sunderland in that season and it really shows

That isn’t funny or clever. If anyone criticises anything does that mean that they’re ‘entitled’ and fans like you are ‘lickers’? Muppet. FYI any fan who drive to Gillingham to watch us play cannot ever be called entitled. I’m one of them (admittedly I was on a Brighton bus as I was too young to drive).

Did the wheels fall off that bus as well?

Why are we trying to play billiard football on a rugby pitch/cowfield.

We will make fools of ourselves

It's crazy. We played the best we've played for ages in the 2nd half against Wolves playing more direct and at a higher tempo. Now we've just reverted to the ponderous, walk it in to the goal stuff.

Why is he on the bench for the league then, no idea what MR has done to be dropped completely. There is a chance he may have to play!
I think Potter said to be a number 2 you have to have a certain mentality or something along those lines. It's probably deeper than it actually is aha!

Come on, two big defensive mistakes this half that created chances for them on top of a really poor season so far. He’s been no where near his usual standard this season, you can’t deny that. No scape goat, but pointing out the truth. And I’m hardly alone in that either.

Great clearance then though.

Didn’t see a second. Forced a great save from their keeper and best of our defenders going forward tonight.

Think he’s been our best defender in PL games recently, up until that a long way from his normal self.

But do you don’t seem to be giving him much leeway, awful bounce on that early mistake...... Happened to a number of our players including Webster and White, just not as glaring in terms of outcome.
