Villa will do exactly the same to us on the last day, if we still need something then we’re in trouble

It’s the EPL, money talks. Eddie bin Abdulaziz Al Saud was able to play his favourite 11 costing £100m’s, including.

(Don’t be too hard amongst yourselves over the next few days. Bloom/RDZ are operating on relative buttons).

Jesus Christ this forum is depressing when we lose. Football fans are morons. Sorry, yes, a lot of you are morons. No offence, like.

Is it not obvious that we have a half-strength, absolutely knackered side playing in over-congested fixtures, to the extent that we are having to play teenagers, including debuts tonight, against a top 4 team away?

Well, I thought it was obvious, anyway.

9 goals shipped in 3 games. FFS lads, please don’t let Villa once again take our glory with the last kick of the season. You are not, I repeat, not on the beach yet!

We've got no chance at Villa. I actually give us more chance against City.

Basically you can thank the world cup for this. We've really drawn the short straw with the fixture congestion but that, Forest and Everton were really f***ing poor. Like dog piss poor.
Thing is if you're going to blame fixture congestion for bad performances (which seems reasonable) you have to also think the opposite was true, i.e. when we had fewer games we benefited compared to others. The season is 38 games after all.

It is obvious but we're an emotional bunch, especially when we lose.

When was the last time Mitoma had a good game for us? Feels, like it’s been a while.
He's good at what he does, which is dribbling and creating chances for others, but he's pants at finishing. I know he's scored with one or two good strikes, but usually he misses or hits it at the goalie, and I've noticed that recently he seems to have become more selfish than he used to be. I don't know whether this is his own decision or the result of instructions from the coaching team, but IMHO he either needs to learn how to finish properly, or else stick to laying it off for a team-mate.

It’s not, it’s true. He was awful today like he was away to Leicester too. Didn’t you see how Newcastle let him have the ball with no pressure at all? It was so obvious, they knew. At Leicester, it was plain to see our own players didn’t pass to him.

Not his fault, he’s quite clearly not a PL defender at the moment and needs a move in the summer.
Just got in from watching elsewhere.

Van Hecke is very poor, similar at Leicester.

Their third goal was rank bad defending.

Still can’t be easy when you aren’t match fit. Was Gilmour injured?

How very Brighton, I am not despondent. We were lucky to only be 2-0 down at HT, Shitehousing by Newcastle after our goal and going for shit or bust. It ended up as bust, oh well I can take it, we’ve been through so much worse

Onwards and upwards. As an aside I thought Van Hecke really grew into that game having looked like a rabbit in the headlights to me early in the game. Good experience for him, we need to give him time.
