Bold starting line up. Club website have it as 3-4-3.

Ryan

White
Dunk
Webster

Lamptey
Alzate
Bissouma
March

Connolly
Maupay
Trossard

Bench is less bold with three defenders on it.

Steele
Bernardo
Burn
Veltman
Gross
Lallana
Ali J

Looking forward to the game. Hopefully we'll take our (plentiful) chances and not give away any soft goals.

Suspect it’ll be same as we ended the Chelsea game in terms of Tross’ taking Lallana’s spot.

Not sure I'd start with Connolly, but I suspect Potter sees a lot more of him throughout the week than I do. So I'll let him make the call.

Very attacking- could be a really good game, both very attacking lineups!

Really glad I tuned in to the Sky Sports Newcastle v Brighton program so I can up to speed with what Chelsea and Liverpool are doing this afternoon.

Prefer Biss and Alzate in CM personally. It's a plus for me.

They're my first choice CMs too, but not a place on the bench for either when we have Bernardo, Veltman and Burn in the 18 means we don't have a like for like change.

Still, love the starting XI!

This could beat the 7 goals in the Leeds and Everton games.

What did I go for in Steve Foster's predictions league?

0-0 of course.

Injured?

Not fit enough?

Ajax?

Burnley?

With Propper just having returned from injury and Stephens walking off injured midweek, I wouldnt read too much into it.

The only clue I'm getting from that bench is that Molumby is probably heading out on loan again.

The average age of our starting line-up today is 23.

Got to be the youngster for a league game since Wilkins was in charge and we just played the youth team most weeks.

Since Davy Propper joined the club, have we ever had a league game neither he nor Stephens were named in the 18?
