We have just smashed our several years old transfer record at 3 to 4 million for Shane Duffy - and I'm not getting at him.

They paid 12 million for Matt Ritchie, who isn't good enough for Bournemouth any more.

They should be about 6 up on that basis.

Skalak had a decent game away at Derby, where he had the complete hoodoo over Christie and delivered some beautiful crosses. Then a reasonable game against Forest against a more combative defender. Then Skalak had a poor game at Reading.

Doesn't possess outright pace and is becoming a bit too predictable. IMO he's guilty of trying to beat his man too often, playing with his head down and is too fond of looking for soft fouls. We need a bit more quality from Jiri. Keep it simple, look up and deliver those crosses to an Albion shirt.
