Newcastle Tickets - Membership points required likely to fall?

Hi,

I see the membership points required for the Newcastle game have fallen from 250 on Monday, to 200, then to the 100 points required today. I'm still a little short! I notice that tickets are till available at all four stands, is the number of points likely to drop further before they sell out?

Thanks

I wouldn't worry too much. Newcastle haven't taken up their full allocation, ticket prices are fairly high and the match is on tv.
Looks like we are going to get about 19,000.

Thanks everyone. So I assume it will go on general sale tomorrow then? As long as I get them at noon I'll be fine. Especially if it may not sell out like Mo said.

Still think it will sell out but should be ok to get a ticket tomorrow.

It think it will be a sell out or near as. All stands apart from W1A now showing Limited.

I did a count up of seats available in the North Stand. There are 294 left. If anyone fancies doing the West and East?

How many membership points will be required tomorrow? 50 still?

Taken from the official site
Owing to the extra tickets available, Seagulls fans with 50 loyalty points or more will be able to purchase their tickets from the earlier time of 12pm tomorrow (Wednesday) online, via the ticketline - 0844 327 1901 - and in person at either of the ticket offices, located at the Amex or in Queens Road.

Way out!

As it stands there are the following available:-

East 298
WSL 326
WSU 310
North 238

+ a guess of 100 or so in the family stands.

So even if we didn't sell another ticket, we would only be 1200 short of capacity (21200) plus a very small number of no shows.

The club have been slow lowering the point thresholds - something they thankfully reaslised yesterday when they announced the 50 point bracket from noon today.

I am still confident this game will sell out - but it should have easily sold out...

Sorry if I wasn't clear, I meant tomorrow (thursday), how many would be needed then. I ask because I have 40 membership points :( (not a real fan, blah blah). So basically I'm wondering if it will drop further if they are still on sale tomorrow morning, providing it doesn't sell out by then. Cheers.

There still appear to be loads left, I think there are plans for them to go to anyone on the database or just 10points.

It's an expensive week for Albion fans with Peterborough/Newcastle and Palace all within 10days of each other.

It's time the doom-mongers and naysayers shut up on this matter, every time people predict so many empty and unsold seats, and every time they are wrong. So far the club has managed to sell out just about every single game at the Amex, sure, there are some no shows ( very few in 1901 for the Wrexham game) so why are people desperate for the club to fail?

By my reckoning there's about 800 general sale tickets available online. Plus any club tickets that arent used (say another 200) plus any family stand tickets not used (maybe another 100). That makes in my view a total of 1100.

If say 10% of 1901s dont show thats another 250 so that means 18550 home tickets sold/likely to be used with still 3 days of sales to go.

Given the Geordies should bring 1500 at least that means a crowd comfortably over 20k as a minimum.

I'm pitching my view of a 21030 crowd minimum

I understood the Geordies had sold out? The away end holds 2550?

Does the 50 point band (just starting now) actually introduce a load more potential fans?

The glory hunters would have done Sunderland and Liverpool and earned 40 points? Maybe they should have made it 40 so these people can fill the empty seats.

Edit: I suppose there are a decent number who have done a handful of home games that have between 50 and 100........ hmmm . I dunno

in which case then we may possibly get very close to the liverpool current record of 21.9k. Of the official capacity (22.3) we need to keep certain spaces free for elf and safety so the Liverpool figure is a close to capacity as I think we can get (bar maybe 100 or so)
