O'Neill would be the best choice, but I doubt that he'd get it. He would probably only leave Celtic for a club bigger than Newcastle like say, Man Ure or Liverpool (who, in my opinion, should've went for him in the summer instead of Benitez).
I want O'Niell out of them, he's got the ability to turn a team around and make them winners. Allerdice is alright but no thanks, Bruce will be 5million, Shearer would have to retire first cos I don't think he would be able to do both playing and mangaging at the same properly.
As for Venebles, NO WAY, he's crap, after what he did at Leeds I don't want him, he might be experienced but I think he should just f*** OFF! Anyway I thought he was already manager of Newcastle, In Australia
Good point, but only if it is for one season and Sheaer is the "Head coach" so to speak so he can train the team and pick the team how he likes with the guidence of Terry.
I would actually like to give John Carver a chance for a few weeks and make Shearer as assistant manager, and if it don't work bring someone in till the end of the season with Shearer co-manager
O'Neil won't come anyway if it is only short term cos it seems that SHEARER ( ) will most definatly be Newcastle manager by next season.
I reckon they´ll go with a caretaker like Venables until the end of the season, when they can make a decision on Shearer, who may call it a day by then. They should take care, mind look at the success of the last caretaker, Pleat
