I'm not going to grizzle about it. But £50 for me and the boy to attend, straight after Christmas, and making it 3 home Saturdays in a row..its getting a bit steep at the wrong time of year. I think I'll probably take the freebie option and put up with Andy Townsend et-al.

After just spending £100 getting my bastard car fixed I certainly won't be going now. Not that I was really thinking of it before due to the obvious. A crate, warmth and ITV will do for me.

Not for STH's it isn't - for there loyalty I think should get a break on price ... but I'm too knackered to argue the toss over it. I was going to go now I'm not ... maybe the club couldn't give a toss but if everyone felt the same as me they'd have a big prob ... on the other hand if I was the only one then they wouldn't. We'll see if they got it right when we see how many show up I guess

When have the club ever given reduced prices for season ticket holders at cup games?

These are standard prices to non season ticket holders

The club is starting lose contact with the fans, the price we sadly pay for being successful

Have we been successful then???....I mean i'm not talking about two years ago, i'm talking about since we been at the Amex. We finished just above mid table last season and are currently in the same position this...It's the 3rd round of the cup, when all championship sides join in, not the 5th round where you are one game from a quarter final.....Have I been asleep and missed all this success???....I was just beginning to think people were starting to stay away anyway.

Already paying over £300 more for my own and my 2 Grandsons ST's than last year as we've moved from WSU wing to ESU. My choice I know, but I can't afford £66 for a Cup game, just have to watch it on the telly. Added to the fact that our manager has stated many times that he has no interest in cup games so I might as well share his disinterest and save some money as well.

Be lucky to half fill the ground, I'm going but I'm not happy about it, not sure I like the way the club is heading ever since Paul Hairdresser arrived.

That was the 4th round, there are now 6,000 extra seats, it's on ITV not ESPN and it's just over a week after Xmas when everyone has spent a fortune and waiting for their next payday....It won't sell out.

Exactly, and the kick off time is crap too.

But, the problem is in the maths....

17,500 at an average of £30.00 equates to £525,000

27,000 at an average of £20.00 equates to £540,000

So very little difference, although they club will lose out on food/drink sales etc.

I'm out.

This one is not for me. Would rather spend the money on a championship away game that really matters . I'm guessing the pricing is based on the fact this likely to be the only home cup game this season?

Bet the same people moaning will also moan if we get a glamour away game at say Arsenal because they miss out by 10 or 20 loyalty points, because they didn't go to this game basically.

This puts in to perspective how high our ticket prices are if anything, if they were lower normally no one would be moaning.

Match day prices that is, as most people on here are STHs most of them haven't given a f*** about this until now.
One did say this would happen.

Yes - that. Our cheapest is £39 i think (WSL) - and charging that for watching teams like Barnsley, Ipswich and Peterborough is a crime.

Teams like Arsenal, Manure, City ? Yes, thats just about fine. Happy im in the North at £28, no idea why people cant just sit in the North/South/WSU Wings for this match for the cheaper rate, your trying out a different place too !!

Clearly this is the sensible answer (although Newcastle may get all of the South?) - but this gives people less chance to whine like bitches.

f*** it, mad pricing and the thin end of the wedge no doubt. I'll be letting the club know what I think by not going.
