2-0 down at Anfield, 3 points behind still. Probably need 6 points?

Remaining Fixtures.
Newcastle v Middlesbrough,
Newcastle v Fulham,
Aston Villa v Newcastle,

Just think, MK Dons could be playing Newcastle in the League, next season.

I hope they go down, I get the impression I'm in the majority in thinking this. Many millions of pounds pissed up against the wall in the last fifteen years and absolutely nothing to show for it. Okay, their fans are very loyal, but did anyone of them seriously think an untried manager was going to lift them out of the shit plus continuing to play a thug in midfield?

I haven't seen the foul btw, but I guess it was bad!!

Overall, I'd LOVE IT if they end up playing Championship footy next season:D

I'd love it, just love it if they did go down.

Unfortunately I think they'll "do an us" and escape, probably sending Hull down.

I too would love to see Newcastle going down but I really think they're going to catch up with Hull. Hull are in such abysmal form at the moment it's difficult to see where another win, or even another point, is coming from. I think Newcastle have enough to catch up the three points on Hull and I don't think Boro will have enough to catch up.

I think the reason they will go down is because of the stupid appointment of Alan Shearer!!
Why would you put someone in charge who has no manageing experience??

And he is not doing it for the money reputed to be about £250k per game.:lolol:

Would love to see him and Newcastle fall flat on their face.

You miserable idiot, why would you want to see a player who was absoloutly fantastic for England, in fact an ispiration, fall flat on his face?

I wish everyone in the world success. People like you just dont know what your talking about a lot of the time.

They have a lot of expensive players on long contracts. It could be a while before they get back.

Simply because he is a money grabbing twat FACT. That is why when he left Southampton he signed for Blackburn and not Man U.

A good player for England but since then he has been a nobody and done nothing. I dont think that he hs passed his coaching badges yet, so shouldnt be manager hence appointing Dowie to help him.

So why not let him have a bit of success, pass them, then go on to do good things for football?

H e will not put anything back into football unless he is paid a fortune to do so. His life revolves around money.

Apart from him Newcastle fans think that they have divine right to be in the Premiership with a shit team and like to consider themselves one of 'the big clubs'.

sorry but that is balls. He don't like Man Utd and didn't want to play for them. Doubt he got much more money at Blackburn they were on the rise remember, maybe it was about first team football and he left to join his boy hood team, where he was/is an idol, which I think most people would have done.

I hope Middlesbrough beat them which gives them a chance of escaping the drop and sending Hull down instead.
