Gonna have to cheat our way to a point, today.
But in the World Cup when they were prepared to add on 8-10 minutes every match it sent a message to the teams that time wasting would not be tolerated, and a number of teams scored well into injury timeIt’s not about the minutes alone though. It is about disrupting the flow of the game and affecting the opposition’s tempo.
Think Fulham away.
hate it.How do you feel about some of the diving from our players? It’s no different really.
No idea why that's not happening in the leagueBut in the World Cup when they were prepared to add on 8-10 minutes every match it sent a message to the teams that time wasting would not be tolerated, and a number of teams scored well into injury time
We do a lot, a lot of tactical fouling. The entire system is dependent on it from the twin midfield pivots. One presses, one covers - if the presser gets rolled they’ll foul the attacking player. It’s absolutely essential to how we play.No problem with tactical fouling as the referee can give out cards, but the going down faking a head injury and other injuries to stop the flow of the game are ones that boil my blood. It won't be long before a player has a serious head injury but the ref waves play on as that team have a reputation for cheating in this area.

Can’t stand the smug ****.The basic premise of the article - that there is something new about any of this - is nonsense. Eddie Howe has always been a snide ****, and his previous teams have always done all this.
Yes, that's why both Mac and Caicedo have had one game bans this season. And remember how Dunk got a booking against Liverpool last weekWe do a lot, a lot of tactical fouling.
