Thought I better say hello as I’ve just signed up, and not entirely sure what to say as a first post!

Very long time lurker here, (since around 2000). I miss the days of Safeway, Hiney, Edna and co.

Bozza, thanks for the hard work over the years in keeping this site running. I’ve always enjoyed the board in its various guises and the variety of news and views on all things Albion. I have never got round to signing up; partly because of laziness, partly because keeping up with the posts is hard enough (without adding to the noise) and partly because of fear of a flaming or causing a binfest!

As a long-time supporter and former Withdean and Amex season ticket holder, who now lives in the UAE (hence former STH), I am immensely proud of our club. Not just for the measured success we’ve achieved, but because when the moaning and bedwetting stops, and all is said and done, BHA is a wonderful community of people, that over the years have supported each other; not just the team.

And that extends to the (mostly great) members of NSC!!! Over the years you’ve given me many laughs, and equal frustrations!

Anyway, its nice to say hello, and thank you!
What a time to be a supporter!

To be fair I also lurked since whenever I first discovered this site up until last year. First ever Brighton match was at the Goldstone when I was a young lad. I think it was 1986 and a 1-1 draw with Barnsley if my memory is working. Came to odd match here and there until I disappeared to the NE for a bit where it gave good opportunity to attend as an away fan to the delightful York, Darlington and Hartlepool not realising that my final Goldstone game had been and gone. Headed back to teh SE and came to a load of the Withdean games where I think I properly fell in love with the club. Was a STH at the AMEX for a few seasons before it bcame apparent living in Madrid and traveling to games was not feasible for too long. Back in blighty noe and come as often as I can to home games. Igs been wild ride and I have loved every minute. cant wait to see what happens this season.
I'll stop rambling now!

Even worse, not a regular at the Priestfield but then that covers 29000 (or maybe 26000 given the opposition fans) of the fans who rock up at the Amex
unlike moi. thankfully i rocked up to all four which makes me the greatest fan with self proclaimed entitlement
