I had the pleasure of meeting* her very briefly as she is the cousin of a friend from Uni.

* When I say met, I mean stumbled on some obtuse words and stared at the ground for much of the duration.

Now confirmed on BBC website. What a knobber. Why were the team playing football in the middle of an important test match.

"England were given an injury scare after bowler James Anderson injured his ankle playing football after the third day's play against New Zealand.

He left the ground on crutches after turning his ankle and was having ice treatment on the injury.

An England spokesman said the injury would be assessed before deciding whether Anderson, who took 5-73 in the first innings, would be able to bowl."

This is England under Vaughan ? We will not win !! :thud:

That's the same Michael Vaughan who's the most successful England captain ever, right?

The Kiwis have 2 of the highest 4 scores for a fourth innings...

That doesn't mean a whole lot. One of them was down to Nathan Astle's incredible double century six years ago - from that side only Fleming and Vettori are still playing. The other was in 1973.

Actually Day 4.

England all out in 2nd innings for 293 leaving NZ 438 to win.

Curently 12/0 and this will be a major win if NZ reach 438, can't see it myself.

Looks a flat pitch, I think it could be a long day in the field for our boys.
