I've never really understood all the fuss made about NYE. As far as I'm concerned, one day it's December 31st, the next day it's January 1st. Big deal.

we'll be having a dinner party/sleep over for the children and their friends. gives the parents of the other children a free babysitter and makes our children happy. win win.

Any time you have the following day off work is (more of) an excuse to drink though isn't it.
