After all the crappy new years' forced celebrations, it shall go the way of so many other preconceived preordained societal 'happenings'.
I shall decide for myself, when to 'feel joyful', and I really doubt it will EVER be surrounded by people I don't mostly know all hugging and wishing each other future happiness like a load of fortune-cookie messages.

Anyway, I am enveloped by a rotten cold and chest infection. Treating myself involves a concoction of balsamic vinegar, crushed fresh garlic, and pure undiluted lemon juice. Likely my bed will be floating near the ceiling by morning, like a hot-air balloon. No-one wants to share their first 08 moments around THAT!
