Easy 10
Brain dead MUG SHEEP
Anyone else see this in last Sundays Observer ? I suppose it was inevitable.
History will be made on Saturday when Beverly Hackett takes charge of the League Two encounter between Oxford United and Notts County.
Daughter of the former FIFA, European and First Division referee Keith Hackett, Beverly, 36, will become the first female referee ever appointed to officiate a professional football match. The team of officials for the game will be completed by two male linesmen and a male 4th official, but Beverly will be in the spotlight, in the middle, for the very first time.
Ms Hackett, from Sheffield, has been officiating in FA Nationwide Womens Premier League for almost five years, having previously referee'd Sunday League football. She has also been a referee's assistant in the Nationwide Conference, acting as linesman in over sixty matches, including several crucial end-of-season Playoff ties. Beverly certainly has no qualms about making the step-up to the mens professional game. "I see it as a natural progression" she said yesterday. "The rules are no different, although I'm expecting the pace of the game to be a little quicker than I'm used to in the Womens Premier League, but I've served my apprenticeship and I know I'm ready". Her sentiments were echoed by Football League Referees Association chief executive Adrian Burrows, when he said: "Beverly has shown herself to be an extremely competent referee, and we have every confidence that she will go on to make her mark in the professional game".
With referee's increasingly being the target of abuse from both fans and players it's a tough profession to go into, but Beverly has no concerns on that front. "I can't promise I'll get every decision absolutely right, but I'll referee with complete fairness and honesty, and as long as I continue to do that, I don't forsee any problems. I'm well aware that us ref's come in for some stick, but I can look after myself, and any player who thinks I'm a soft touch because I'm a woman will have a shock. I won't stand for foul and abusive language, and I won't hesitate to send someone off if he is being abusive to me or any of my assistants".
Massaging her heaving, pendulous breasts, Beverly began grinding and gyrating suggestively. "Do you like that ? Huh ?" she pouted, before pulling out her whistle and sucking furiously at the pea. "I'm a baaaaad referee" she breathed heavily in a husky voice. "I'll tell you what to do, you bad, bad boy. Do you want to see some clam jousting ?".
Beverly is also scheduled to referee the match between Lincoln City and Rochdale on April 23rd.
