Does seem a strong candidate though. Wages are a problem potentially. Some Wolves fans saying he is on £55'000 per week which clearly we can not afford to pay although neither can they.

If it is to be Doyle i reckon we'll pay no more than a quarter of that.

The sensible thing to do would surely be to get someoen in for Reading and then another one later if necessary so that they can definitely get the 93 day loan period covered.

As an occasional visitor to Molineux, I have never been a Doyle fan. Always rated Ward, though.

However, most Wolves fans will tell you Doyle is amazing and Ward is rubbish.

Doyle would be great IMHO. I recall he was prolific at Reading in the Championship.

I am struggling to think of a player it could be. I would envisage a smaller player in the mould of Macca or Hoskins with experience enough to fit in instantly.

I've just seen Michael Owen walking into the Grand.

(or at least someone who looked like Michael Owen)

I think Bobby Z's game would be lifted by playing at The Amex and if we can get QPR to pay most of his wages at the same time I say YES. Ulloa has been asked to change his game to very much Zamora's style of holding up the ball with his back to the goal, if we get him back it would allow Ulloa to get into the box and do do what he does best more often.

As I mentioned on twitter, I have it from an impeccable source that the loan has been agreed, and the only variable is when Oscar decides to start the deal, taking into account the players available and the way he wants to play. It could be that Oscar decides we're ok with Ulloa and say Buckley for the Reading & QPR games. Leaving it a week or so also has the advantage of giving extra games at the end of the loan period.

This agrees with the Argus story. The player himself isn't one mentioned above.
